At a glance

A honeymoon fit for royalty. Our expert African travel designers have put together this dream honeymoon, with an intuitive and balanced mix of world-class safari and blissful beach time, staying at the finest in hand-picked romantic accommodation – a trip to trump all others.

Begin this luxury adventure with a night in Johannesburg, a logistical necessity made wonderfully opulent with a stay at The Saxon, a fabulous hotel that hosts two of the city’s best restaurants.

From here, hop across to the pristine wilds of the Sabi Sands to start your safari, and stay in one of our favourites, Singita Ebony Lodge.

Next up is the legendary Kruger and Royal Malewane, where you can watch elephants come to drink at your private plunge pool or treat yourself in its oasis-like spa between expertly guided game drives on the lookout for the Big Five and more which thrive here.

Finally, fly to Mozambique before a quick helicopter flip to Benguerra Island, the second largest island in the idyllic Bazaruto Archipelago. Over the next five nights at boutique Azura, watch the waves roll in from your villa, go snorkelling, dine on freshly caught fish, meet the smiling locals and sail on traditional dhows as the sun sets – barefoot luxury at its most laid back.

Sabi Sands

Accommodation in Sabi Sands

Three days on safari in the Sabi Sands

Widely regarded as Africa’s premier game reserve, Sabi Sands is world-renowned for the abundance of game - particularly leopard - and is the best place to see all of the ‘Big Five’ in South Africa.

The landscape is Savanna Bushveld, the iconic safari landscape of scrub, small trees and grassland, punctuated by the Sabi and Sand Rivers. The oldest of all the private reserves, the game here has become very accustomed to the vehicles, allowing for fantastic, up-close viewings. One can even track leopard or wild-dog as they hunt, a thrilling and unique experience.

The Kruger

Accommodation in The Kruger

Three days on safari in the Kruger

Founded in 1898 by President Paul Kruger, this National Park remains one of the oldest and largest wildlife reserves in the world. However it’s not just the Kruger’s size or age that has really helped distinguish itself as one of Africa’s premier and consummate National Parks, but its ground-breaking conservation philosophy and practice that has led the way for other wildlife sanctuaries not just in Africa. And it’s no wonder when you think of the Kruger’s sixteen different habitats, 517 species of bird, and more varieties of mammals, including the Big Five, than any other reserve. All of the lodges Jacada offer are in exclusive, private concession areas or private reserves bordering the park.
