I live in the one of the world’s top travel destinations: Cape Town. Whenever I have time off, just hanging around the city and its surroundings is a memorable experience for me. I live just outside the wine country, so exploring the Winelands is a common weekend activity. As a local, I tend to steer clear of the ‘touristy’ estates and I have found quite a few favourites so far.
Warm days spent on the beach during summer, quick early morning hikes up Lion’s Head, lazy afternoons at a wine estate, adrenaline adventures, great food and rich culture…what more do you need?
