Travel Designer

I’m a Zimbabwean born adventure seeker who traded in her law degree for a job in travel. I first fell in love with travel on a small boat, somewhere in the middle of Lake Kariba, whilst I watched the sunset over the water. This moment has capsuled in my mind as my first realization that there is a vast world of exploring ahead of me! Since leaving Zimbabwe I have been lucky enough to call both Cape Town and London my home, which has opened my eyes to different experiences, cultures, and lifestyles, and has only fueled my passion to discover much more. I absolutely love planning trips, both for clients and for myself and my daughter, sunsets, and being cheerfully cliché in equal amounts!

On my bucket list

Bali

I've always travelled between Southern Africa and the UK/Europe, and I want to spread my wings (and curiosity) and go somewhere completely new. The mix of beaches, places to hike, beautiful open plan living, and just general 'outside-ness' about it makes me feel that it would be my perfect next destination.

Best destination for families

South Africa

There is just so much available and catered towards families in South Africa, no one has miss out on anything and it's just great. Whether it be a family-focused safari you're after, activities in the winelands, or just the buzz of the city itself, there really is something for everyone.

My favourite trip

South Africa Family Safari Explorer

This trip is based in one of my favourite countries, and combines three of my favourite regions within that country, showing off just a taster of South Africa's diversity. Also, family travel has become very important to me, and itineraries like this show off our ability to put together a bucket list trip that everyone can enjoy, whether you're six or 60!

My favourite hotel

Babylonstoren

Babylonstoren in Paarl (the Winelands) is my absolute 'go to'. It has a wonderful farm to table production of food, an abundance of activities, wine (!), and beauty of the grounds just make it an all round winner.

My top tips

Book ahead - travel is back on its feet and Africa has a tendency to fill up quick (at least, the coolest spots do!)

Try, as best you can, to switch off whilst on safari - allow yourself to be immersed in this experience

When it comes to packing, layering is your best friend!
